They say you only have 18 summers of childhood to spend with your children. When they’re born, that feels like an absolute eternity. All those that have navigated the journey before you all exclaim that it goes by so fast. I remember smiling when people told me how fast it will go after my son was born and, in a disengaged manner, I remember smiling and agreeing.

5 Resolutions to Keep
You know what generally happens when the year gets into gear? Life. It just happens. Maybe you’re well on your way and are completely smashing your goals. Or, maybe you haven’t even glanced at them since you wrote them. Wherever you find yourself on the achievement spectrum - halfway there, nowhere close, or nailing it - here’s a little push to help you focus on getting things done this year.

On Quitting (Again)
If you find yourself thinking about all the things that you wished you’d finished, but actually quit. Fix your focus. Begin, again. If you’re still breathing, you’ve got another chance.

The Problem With Focus
If you’re like me and have some big idea or dream you want to pursue and see it realized, you can’t afford to have your attention hijacked by everything that asks for it. Put some boundaries around your time. Say “no” to pop-up matters (if and when possible). Most importantly, you’ve got to focus on it.
